    About Us

    History:
The Sydney Fund emerged after the founder's beloved dog (Sydney) a Cocker Spaniel, began to become debilitated by numerous medical conditions that proved to be very costly. While Sydney lived a very long life, and was provided with all the best care necessary, it was obvious that providing for his wellness, and animals like him would be impossible for low-income families and people on fixed incomes. Giving generously to this fund will help off-set many of these costs and save the lives of many companion animals who need assistance.

    Mission:
The mission of the Sydney Fund is to keep companion animals in their loving homes with their families, by assisting low-income families, individuals, and people on fixed incomes with pet medical and wellness expenses. The Sydney Fund considers every animal a "family member." We work to ensure all animals receive the medical care they need, and the compassionate homes they deserve.

People should not have to destroy, abandon or relinquish their pet because it is too expensive to care for them.

    What we do:
Provide grants for medical care for companion animals of low-income families, individuals, and people on fixed incomes. Assist animals in need of wellness care, medical care, and emergencies.
